Saumya’s Cooling Chamber is specially used to condition the specimen for different test up to – 80 ˚c as specified in different national & international standards. Material property like physical, mechanical properties of plastics & electrical insulating materials are affected by temperature & humidity. Plastic materials tested above room temperature will yield respectively higher impact strength & modulus. In order to make reliable comparison of different materials & test result obtained by different laboratories, it is most important to condition the sample at given standards.
